Dunkin’ spices it up on Instagram, referencing ‘ya girl.’ The online crowd is loving it

Dunkin’ Donuts has delighted its fans and rival brands with a bold and playful post on its Instagram account.

This particular post was part of a series promoting Halloween-themed items from Dunkin’, featuring a new beverage, a donut, and a custom Munchkins bucket. While the initial posts were fairly straightforward, the spicy one shared on Tuesday included some cheeky messaging.

The post stated, “YA GIRL SAID IM NOT SO ITSY BITSY.”

Numerous users, including several brands like Walgreens, jumped into the comments to either commend Dunkin’ for its creative marketing or to continue the joke.

Dunkin’ has kept the playful spirit alive with new posts, even launching merchandise featuring the “spider donut” mascot that quickly sold out, according to the brand.

“Dunkin in their unhinged era. Pop awffffp,” commented one user.

Pringles and other brands respond to Dunkin’s bold post

“You got spunk, kid,” commented Pringles.

Cheez-It added: “Orange spider could never.”

Other brands, such as Walgreens and QVC, humorously pleaded with Dunkin’ to tone it down.

Walgreens said, “Dunkin please my girls on here,” alongside a crying emoji.

The Roger Williams Park Zoo in Providence, Rhode Island, echoed this sentiment, stating, “I can’t handle this today.”

Smart Sweets succinctly summarized the mood with just: “Real.”
