Innovative Amorphous Nanosheets Crafted from Challenging Metal Oxides and Oxyhydroxides

A team has pioneered a new technique for synthesizing amorphous nanosheets by employing solid-state surfactants. These ultra-thin amorphous nanosheets can now be produced from various kinds of metal oxides and hydroxides. This innovation significantly broadens their applicability across various technologies such as the potential advancement of next-generation fuel cells. Researchers at Nagoya University in Japan

NFL Trade Deadline Predictions: Ideal Destinations for Top Trade Candidates in 2024

It’s that time of the NFL season when several players may find themselves donning new uniforms.

As we approach the NFL’s trade deadline on November 5, numerous trades have already taken place. More transactions are likely as teams look to strengthen their rosters for the crucial part of the season.

This year has seen high-profile players like Davante Adams, Amari Cooper, and DeAndre Hopkins change teams. Such significant moves at this stage of the season signify that we might be in for an active trade deadline period.

Which trades would we like to see happen? YSL News Sports highlights some of the best potential moves for players who could be on the move before the NFL trade deadline:

NCAA Trade Deadline: Top Trade Candidates and Their Ideal Destinations

Mike Williams, Jets

Ideal Team: Los Angeles Chargers

Since the Jets brought Davante Adams on board, Williams has slipped to their fourth wide receiver. The connection between Aaron Rodgers and Williams has faltered, leading to Rodgers expressing frustration after a recent loss.

Currently, Williams ranks fifth on the Jets in both receptions (11) and receiving yards (160). He has become an overlooked player in his initial season with the team, and there are concerns about his recovery from a torn ACL sustained last year. He hasn’t showcased much explosive ability post-injury.

The Chargers are in dire need of a go-to receiver for Justin Herbert, particularly on crucial third downs and within the red zone. They currently struggle in both passing yards and red zone efficiency. During his time with the Chargers, Williams tallied 309 receptions, 4,806 yards, and 31 touchdowns. A reunion could be beneficial for both sides.

Travis Etienne, Jaguars

Ideal Team: Dallas Cowboys

With Tank Bigsby emerging as a leading option in the Jaguars’ backfield, Etienne has become less essential. Bigsby leads the team in rushing attempts and yards while having more big plays than Etienne this season.

While Etienne is quite versatile and can catch passes, the Jaguars prefer to utilize Bigsby for the more traditional rushing plays.

The Jaguars are likely facing a rebuild, and trading Etienne could yield some valuable draft picks. The 25-year-old running back has gained over 1,400 scrimmage yards in his first two seasons, maintaining a good market value.

On the other hand, the Cowboys are struggling in the run game, sitting at the bottom of the league in rushing efficiency. Their current running backs aren’t performing at a starter-level capacity. Etienne could immediately step in and fill the gap left by Tony Pollard’s departure.

Za’Darius Smith, Browns

Ideal Team: Detroit Lions

Recent actions from the Browns suggest they are looking to sell as the trade deadline approaches. Their trade of Amari Cooper coincided with Deshaun Watson’s ending injury. There are now talks of Smith also being on the market.

Smith is tied for the team lead in sacks this season, making him an essential player on the Browns roster. However, the team needs to collect assets and manage salary cap space effectively.

The Lions have suffered an injury to Aidan Hutchinson, leaving a gap at defensive end. Although Smith may not entirely replace Hutchinson’s elite pass-rushing skills, he still possesses the capability to create pressure on opposing quarterbacks. Both teams operate a base 4-3 defense, making it easy for Smith to transition, plus he has prior experience in the NFC North division.

Bryce Young, Panthers

Ideal Team: Los Angeles Rams

This upcoming week, Young is set to start against the Denver Broncos, but it’s largely due to Andy Dalton’s thumb injury from a car accident.

There’s an indication that the Panthers have a strategy for Young after his early season struggles. He has mostly played in mop-up roles lately.

A fresh start could benefit Young, particularly under coach Sean McVay, who has a track record of enhancing quarterbacks’ skills. The former top draft pick has the potential to thrive, but he needs to improve in several areas to restore his confidence.

Josh Uche, Patriots

Ideal Team: Baltimore Ravens

Uche recorded a personal best of 11.5 sacks last season but has seen a decline since then, managing just five total sacks recently.

The Patriots linebacker has seen limited playtime recently, which could make him a target for trade rumors.

The Ravens have a history of rejuvenating veteran pass rushers. Given their current situation, Uche would be a strong addition to complement Odafe Oweh with two young edge rushers who could form a formidable duo.

Nate Davis, Bears

Best fit: Pittsburgh Steelers

Davis began the season as a starting player but lost his spot after Week 2. By Week 6, the Bears had made him inactive, indicating a drastic fall in his ranking on the team.

In March 2023, the Bears signed Davis, previously with the Titans, to a three-year deal worth $30 million. He was expected to play a key role on Chicago’s offensive line, but it looks like the team is ready to move forward without him. While Davis is skilled, his performance in both pass protection and run blocking has declined over the past two seasons.

The Steelers have been struggling with injuries on their offensive line since the preseason. There are rumors that they are looking to acquire a wide receiver, but they may also seek additional support for their offensive line.

Emmanuel Ogbah, Dolphins

Best fit: Atlanta Falcons

Ogbah has recorded at least 5.5 sacks in five different seasons throughout his career. Now in his ninth year, he plays with high energy and excels in run defense. With Jaelan Phillips injured for the season, Ogbah has taken on a larger role this year. However, as he turns 31 just after the trade deadline and with his contract set to expire, along with the arrival of veteran Tyus Bowser from the Seahawks’ practice squad, his future is uncertain.

Tua Tagovailoa is expected to return soon, but if the Dolphins feel the season is slipping away, they might look to trade talented players.

The Falcons currently have the fewest sacks in the NFL, with only six this season. Although they traded for Matthew Judon in August, he has managed just 1.5 sacks. Judon has faced many chip blocks and double teams. Adding another experienced pass rusher like Ogbah could help improve the situation for Judon.

Cam Robinson, Jaguars

Best fit: Kansas City Chiefs

Is it possible that Jacksonville might let go of its longest-serving starter? Robinson has previously been placed under the franchise tag twice, indicating a continual exit from the team seems likely.

The 29-year-old Robinson is in the last year of his contract. With the Jaguars struggling, they could see a trade as an opportunity to gain future draft picks. Furthermore, first-round pick Anton Harrison, who played left tackle in college, transitioned to the right tackle position in the NFL and may be poised to take Robinson’s place.

It would be a typical move for the Chiefs to secure a starting-caliber tackle right before the trade deadline ends. They previously sought after DeAndre Hopkins due to their wide receiver needs, and now they have faced instability at left tackle with Wanya Morris and rookie Kingsley Suamataia. Acquiring Robinson could give them reliability at that position for the rest of the season.
