Trump Capitalizes on Biden’s Blunder During Fiery Wisconsin Speech

Trump Exploits Biden’s Misstep in a Jibe-Filled Campaign Speech in Wisconsin

Former President Donald Trump focused on President Joe Biden’s recent “garbage” remark during his campaign rallies on Wednesday. He also took the opportunity to criticize Vice President Kamala Harris.

“Her extreme incompetence makes her unfit to serve as president,” Trump remarked at a rally in Green Bay, Wisconsin. “Nobody has any respect for her, trusts her, or takes her seriously.”

Trump arrived at the Wisconsin rally driving a custom garbage truck, wearing a bright orange trash collector’s vest. This act was a direct reference to Biden’s comment from Tuesday where he labeled Trump’s supporters as “garbage.”

“What do you think of my garbage truck?” Trump asked reporters present. “This vehicle is a tribute to Kamala and Joe Biden.”

The Harris campaign criticized Trump’s stunt, with Ammar Moussa, the director of rapid response, comparing it to the infamous 1988 military tank photo op by then-Democratic presidential candidate Michael Dukakis in Detroit.

Trump, still wearing the bright vest on stage, began his speech by addressing Biden’s remarks: “They treat our campaign as if it’s garbage,” he said, referring to Biden and Harris. He expressed dissatisfaction over the Democrats calling him a “Nazi” and “fascist,” following comments made by his former chief of staff, John Kelly, regarding Trump’s earlier remarks about Hitler.

Trump also had plenty to say about his critics.

“There’s no doubt that my supporters are far superior to (Biden and Harris),” he stated at the start of his Green Bay event.

In prior instances, Trump has referred to his political rivals using terms like “garbage” and “scum.” He has labeled Harris and her supporters as “Marxists,” “communists,” and “low IQ” individuals, insults that he reiterated on Wednesday.

“Some people are just impossible to get along with,” Trump expressed to his supporters in Rocky Mount, N.C.
