How to Watch Live Election Coverage: TV Channels and Broadcast Information for Election Day 2024
Election Day has arrived! Voters can head to the polls on Tuesday, November 5, to participate in the presidential election, featuring candidates like former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris, along with various local and state contests.

TV Broadcast Options for Election Coverage
- NBC: NBC News will provide continuous live coverage for 24 hours beginning at 5 p.m. ET on Election Day, an unprecedented move for the network. They’ll also have more than 40 hours of live programming on NBC News NOW, starting at 7 a.m. ET Tuesday and running into early Wednesday.
- CNBC: From 7 p.m. ET, Carl Quintanilla will host “Your Money, Your Vote” live from the New York Stock Exchange, along with reporters like Jim Cramer and Sara Eisen, who will discuss economic implications post-election. Scott Wapner will lead a discussion panel on trading strategies and interview key figures in finance.
- CNN: “Election Night in America” kicks off at 4 p.m. ET, hosted by Jake Tapper and Anderson Cooper, joined by Dana Bash, Erin Burnett, Audie Cornish, and Chris Wallace. John King will analyze election results in real-time as votes are tallied nationwide.
- Fox News: Starting at 6 p.m. ET, Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum will co-anchor “FOX News Democracy 2024” to report on incoming election results. Bill Hemmer will manage the “Bill-board,” providing state-by-state and county-by-county election data throughout the night.
- NewsNation: On Election Day, “NewsNation Decision Desk 2024” will air from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. ET, co-anchored by Chris Cuomo, Elizabeth Vargas, and Leland Vittert. Additionally, The CW Network will simulcast this coverage from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. ET.
