Although the police did not name the victims initially, Prince George’s County Council member Wanika Fisher confirmed that one of the victims is Tobias Dorzon.

Dorzon has played running back for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Tennessee Titans in the NFL and is currently the executive chef at Huncho House in Hyattsville.

In her statement, Fisher expressed her sadness and disappointment over the news that Dorzon was one of the victims in the robbery on Tuesday night in her district.

Additionally, Fisher recalled honoring Dorzon with a proclamation after he received the title of 2024 Chef of the Year by the Restaurant Association of Maryland, making him the first chef from Prince George’s County to achieve this recognition.

“He is an incredibly gifted chef who has showcased our county on the national stage through various Food Network appearances,” Fisher added. “I demand justice for this terrible act and cannot wait to see Chef Dorzon return to his kitchen soon.”
