Engineers Revolutionize CO2 Conversion: Turning Emissions into Valuable Resources

A new electrode design developed at MIT boosts the efficiency of electrochemical reactions that turn carbon dioxide into ethylene and other products. As the world struggles to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, researchers are seeking practical, economical ways to capture carbon dioxide and convert it into useful products, such as transportation fuels, chemical feedstocks, or even

Fantasy Football Week 11: Trade Value Chart and Rankings for the Remainder of the Season

As we approach the end of the 2024 fantasy football regular season, there are two main strategies to boost your teams: utilizing the waiver wire and making trades.

Assessing a fantasy trade can often feel overwhelming. Many managers tend to overrate their players, leading to skewed valuations. That’s where the Week 11 fantasy football trade value charts come into play. Additionally, my Week 11 fantasy rankings are available to assist you with lineup and waiver choices this week.

You can use these charts as a personal trade analyzer for standard, half-PPR (point per reception), and full PPR leagues. If you receive a trade offer, you can easily evaluate it by inputting the values of the involved players into your phone’s calculator—no need for an old-school calculator! The charts also cater to leagues that reward six points per passing touchdown and those with a superflex position.

Keep in mind: If you’re considering an imbalanced trade (like a 2-for-1 or 3-for-1 deal), ensure you factor in the values of the players you may have to bench or drop. For instance, if you’re offered Tyrone Tracy Jr., Isiah Pacheco, and Ricky Pearsall (totaling a value of 83) in exchange for Christian McCaffrey (valued at 69), it may seem appealing. However, if accepting means sidelining players like Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Austin Ekeler (totaling 26), it actually becomes a less favorable transaction for you.

Another important point: The “1 QB” values apply to standard scoring leagues. The value of quarterbacks tends to decrease in PPR formats, so reduce their values by approximately 4% in half-PPR and by another 4% in full PPR (this reduction can become less significant as the season progresses and players look to strengthen their teams). For example, Jalen Hurts has a value of 39 in standard leagues, which adjusts to 37 in half-PPR (after a 4% decrease) and 36 in full PPR (after an 8% decrease).

The rankings provided reflect how players should be valued in twelve-team leagues, organized according to their half-PPR values.
