Following an unexpected breakup, the reality series resumed with the “Men Tell All” episode last week. Bryan Alexandar from YSL News termed it as “gooey good,” showcasing moments filled with heartfelt exchanges, often referred to as “Sensitive Man Hugs,” between Joan, 61, and the competing men.
During this episode, all the contestants discussed their experiences on the show, while Joan and Pascal addressed the surprising events from the last episode.
Joan shared with YSL News, “I genuinely wish Pascal the best. I was hurt and taken aback; I can admit that. However, he recognized he wasn’t in the right space for this. Ultimately, he made the right decision.”
Pascal, on his part, expressed no intent to hurt Joan, stating to YSL News, “I’m confident I was ‘the chosen one,’ but I recognized I wasn’t where she needed me to be. I understood that continuing just wasn’t necessary.”
Joan hinted that the tension isn’t over, mentioning, “Every finale in ‘Bachelor’ history has a twist. Expect tears and heightened emotions. However, there will also be joyful tears in the end.”

Who is the Star of ‘The Golden Bachelorette’?
Joan Vassos, who appeared on “The Golden Bachelor,” is the first leading lady of “The Golden Bachelorette” on ABC.
A 61-year-old private school administrator from Rockville, Maryland, Vassos was a favored contestant, thanks to the success of “The Golden Bachelor,” which was highlighted by YSL News in February.
In last year’s show, Vassos shared a romantic evening with “Golden Bachelor” Gerry Turner but became a memorable character after her difficult choice to depart due to health issues concerning her daughter.
Throughout Turner’s season, Vassos frequently mentioned her late husband, John, who passed away after 32 years of marriage from pancreatic cancer. She reflected on Instagram in January, saying, “He was the husband that always made me feel safe and cherished.”
