Taylor Swift Will Not Attend the Kelce Family Thanksgiving, According to Donna Kelce: ‘She’s Quite Busy’

It seems that Taylor Swift will not be joining the Kelce family for Thanksgiving, as indicated by Donna Kelce.

Donna Kelce, the proud matriarch and mother of NFL players Jason and Travis Kelce, Swift’s boyfriend, shared with Craig Melvin, the new co-anchor of “Today,” that the pop star is currently “kind of busy.”

“I don’t think she will. She’s rather occupied right now. She still has her tour,” Donna explained, referring to Swift’s ongoing Eras Tour, which comes to a close on December 8.

Despite Swift’s likely absence, “Mama Kelce” has big plans for the holiday season. She mentioned her cooking appearance on “Today,” where she prepared her marshmallow crescent puffs recipe.

“Travis will be playing the day after Thanksgiving,” she mentioned. “Football is part of our holiday traditions. Football is family.”

Donna also noted that they were not organizing a large dinner since “I think we’ll just be at the football game.”

Donna Kelce regularly appears on the “Today” show and also teased her guest spot in an upcoming Hallmark movie alongside NBC’s Jenna Bush Hager.

The NFL is collaborating with Hallmark to produce one of its upcoming Christmas films for the 2024 season. “Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story” will premiere on November 30, featuring appearances by Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid, Donna Kelce, and other prominent Chiefs players.

The story follows Chiefs superfan Alana (played by Hunter King) as she strives to win the fan of the year award during the Christmas season. Along the way, she finds herself falling for Derrick (Tyler Hynes), the director of fan engagement and the contest judge. Jenna Bush Hager portrays a sports reporter, while Donna Kelce plays a fictional BBQ restaurant manager in Kansas City.
