Jake Paul challenges Conor McGregor for his next match; UFC champion replies with a meme

After recently defeating Mike Tyson, Jake Paul is eager to secure another lucrative fight, this time targeting a well-known older, retired athlete.

Just hours after his victory against the 58-year-old Tyson, which ended in a unanimous decision, Paul issued a challenge to Conor McGregor, who is 36 years old. However, Paul isn’t interested in boxing McGregor like he did with Tyson.

Instead, he wants to compete in an MMA fight.

The 27-year-old social media star turned fighter posted on X: “Hey Conor, I know you mentioned to my team that you’d fight me at 170lbs. That’s not happening. Let’s do it in MMA. No weight class restrictions. Just like the old days. Though, I doubt you’ll agree.”

McGregor, clearly aware of the memes floating around online, replied with one of his own.

“Nakisa already called me, lad, it’s this guy next for you. Good luck, pal,” McGregor tweeted, along with a meme featuring Senator Mitch McConnell, who is 82 years old.

Experts and fans alike have thrown around names for Paul’s potential next opponents, ranging from Clint Eastwood to former President Jimmy Carter, and even Robert DeNiro, who won an Academy Award for portraying a boxer in “Raging Bull.”

Meanwhile, Paul is enjoying his financial success, claiming to have made around $40 million from his fight against Tyson. He is also praising his promotion company, Most Valuable Promotions, whose collaboration with Netflix boosted the streamer’s reach to 60 million households, though it left many subscribers disappointed.
