Now, we move to Week 12.

Quarterback Rankings for Week 12: Movers and Shakers
- UP: Justin Herbert – The skilled quarterback’s comeback is now gaining attention. Herbert has been a top-12 quarterback for four consecutive weeks, and in Week 12 he faces a Ravens defense that permits the fifth-most points to quarterbacks.
- UP: Bo Nix – The rookie is on fire, finishing in the top-12 among fantasy quarterbacks in five of his last seven games, with four of those being QB9 or better. The Raiders have allowed at least 17.4 points to QBs in all but two games since Week 1.
- UP: Patrick Mahomes – Despite a rocky fantasy season, this could be the moment to revive him in your lineups. Carolina has surrendered the eighth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks in 2024.
- UP: Geno Smith – The seasoned QB has finished as QB12 or better in six of ten games this season, facing a Cardinals team that allows an average of 21.9 fantasy points to quarterbacks while on the road (compared to just 12.2 at home).
- UP: Anthony Richardson – In his comeback against the Jets, Richardson compiled 305 total yards and threw three touchdowns. The Lions have allowed at least 15.7 fantasy points to six different quarterbacks this season.
- DOWN: Jayden Daniels – Daniels started strong but has trended downward since, ranking as QB11 or lower for seven consecutive games, with finishes of QB24 and QB23 in his last two outings.
- DOWN: Sam Darnold – After a disappointing performance against the Jaguars, Darnold bounced back with 264 yards and three touchdowns against the Titans. However, he faces a Bears team that has restricted QBs to the fewest fantasy points in 2024.
- DOWN: Jameis Winston – Though Winston had a big game in Week 11 with 403 yards and two touchdowns, streamers may want to seek other options this week as no QB has surpassed 18.4 fantasy points against the Steelers this season.
Running Back Rankings for Week 12: Movers and Shakers
- UP: Tyrone Tracy Jr. – The rookie has marked himself as a top-10 running back in three of his last five contests and should thrive against a Buccaneers defense that has given up the seventh-most fantasy points to running backs.
- UP: Najee Harris – The 26-year-old has consistently ranked as RB18 or better in five straight games. Six running backs have surpassed 10 points in half-PPR scoring against the Browns in their last six games.
- UP: Bucky Irving – After a solid RB6 finish in Week 10, the rookie has now reached RB17 or better in three of his last five games. He faces a Giants defense that has allowed the most rushing yards and the third-most fantasy points to running backs since Week 7.
- UP: Brian Robinson Jr. and Austin Ekeler – Robinson has been RB17 or better in five of his eight games this season and has only finished lower than RB22 once. Ekeler has been RB27 or better in seven of his last nine matchups. Both are good options against a Cowboys defense that’s surrendering the third-most fantasy points to running backs in 2024.
- DOWN: Jonathan Taylor – Taylor has been a regular in the top-10 rankings but has only finished higher than RB11 once in eight games this year. He faces the Lions in Week 12, who have allowed the fourth-fewest fantasy points to running backs this season.
- DOWN: Aaron Jones – Jones started strong, but it’s been rough lately. He has only finished as RB19 or better once in his last six games.
- DOWN: Kareem Hunt – Hunt’s initial success may be fading with Isiah Pacheco expected to return in Week 12. Additionally, Hunt had a season-low 14 touches against the Bills last week.
- DOWN: Audric Estime – After coach Sean Payton mentioned that Estime would receive “more reps,” the rookie only managed nine touches, four less than the previous week. Proceed with caution if you choose to play this backfield in fantasy.
Wide Receiver Rankings for Week 12: Movers and Shakers
- UP: Mike Evans – He’s making a comeback. Evans seems set to return in Week 12, and he should have an important role to play. However, It’s a limited set of data, but the 31-year-old has posted an average of 0.57 fantasy points for every route he runs when Chris Godwin is unavailable since 2022. To put it into perspective, the only player with a higher average during this time is Tyreek Hill at 0.64.
- RISING: Jauan Jennings – Jennings has recorded over six targets in three games this season, achieving finishes of WR1, WR17, and WR8 (pending Monday Night Football). He appears to be a top-15 wide receiver for the rest of the season.
- RISING: Jaxon Smith-Njigba – Despite D.K. Metcalf’s return, JSN continued to shine. The second-year player accumulated 110 receiving yards on 10 catches against the 49ers and added 8 rushing yards. He’s solidly in the top-20 rankings this week.
- RISING: Ladd McConkey and Quentin Johnston – The Ravens have given up the highest fantasy points to wide receivers this season, making it an excellent opportunity to start the Chargers receivers in Week 12. McConkey has recorded over 100 receiving yards in two of his last four games, while Johnston has ranked as a top-30 receiver in five of his last seven games.
- RISING: Jerry Jeudy – Jeudy has seen eight or more targets in three consecutive games, culminating in a performance of 6 receptions for 142 yards and 1 touchdown in Week 11. Even against a tough Steelers defense, he is valuable for streaming options.
- FALLING: Deebo Samuel Sr. – Even with Brandon Aiyuk and George Kittle missing, Deebo managed only 21 total yards this week. He has been ranked as WR37 or worse in five of his last seven games. Adjust your expectations for him.
- FALLING: Romeo Doubs – After impressive finishes as WR9 and WR15 in Weeks 6 and 7, Doubs has dropped outside the top-45 for three consecutive games. He’s no longer on the fantasy radar, especially with a challenging matchup against the 49ers in Week 12.
- FALLING: Jaylen Waddle – Since Week 1, Waddle’s highest finish has been WR35. While he always carries some potential, starting him comes with risks.
Tight End Rankings for Week 12: Ascending and Descending Players
- RISING: Jonnu Smith – Smith has emerged as a top-two tight end in two of his last five games and ranks as TE17 or higher in five of the last six. He offers a solid option, particularly given the scarcity at this position.
- RISING: Ja’Tavion Sanders – The rookie tight end has been TE16 or better in four of his last five games, with three top-12 performances during that span. He’s a reasonable streaming choice against a Chiefs defense that has allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to tight ends.
- FALLING: Tucker Kraft – Kraft has been limited to four or fewer targets in four of his past five games, including a zero-target game against the Bears. The 49ers have given up the fifth-fewest fantasy points to tight ends this season.
- FALLING: Pat Freiermuth – Freiermuth has struggled for opportunities, not exceeding three targets since Week 4. This has led to only one finish better than TE18 during that time.
