Unrivaled Basketball League Unveils Team Rosters: Full Breakdown Available
The premier professional women’s basketball league is just a few months from its launch, and team player rosters for the first season have now been announced.
On Wednesday, Unrivaled disclosed its team rosters, marking a crucial development as the league prepares for its opening game in January. This new 3-on-3 league, played on a “compressed full court”, consists of six teams, each with five players, and boasts the “highest average salary” in women’s professional sports. Some of the leading stars from the WNBA are joining the league, which will take place from January 17 to March 17, just a couple of months before the WNBA season begins.
With six teams participating, while the rosters are finalized, two teams still have an open wild card spot, meaning some players are yet to be officially announced.
