Rev Up Your Ride: SoFlo Customs Unleashes the Ultimate Ford Bronco Raptor Pickup Experience

Looking for a Ford Bronco Raptor pickup truck? SoFlo Customs has got you covered

In the past, Ford had a pickup variant of the Bronco during its initial generation, similar to Jeep’s CJ. Since then, many enthusiasts have been hoping for a new Bronco pickup. Unlike Jeep, Ford’s lineup includes the Ranger, F-150, and Maverick, which reduces the demand for a new pickup model. Nevertheless, that hasn’t stopped Joseph Ghattas and SoFlo Customs from bringing this dream to life.

The “base” model known as the Stud showcases Raptor-style fender extensions, with a unique rear fender design. To incorporate the four-foot cargo bed, an additional 16 inches were added to the wheelbase, ensuring the rear seating area remains intact while closing off the cabin behind the C-pillar. Ghattas mentioned that this increased wheelbase improves the driving experience on highways. SoFlo Customs and its affiliated company, Apocalypse Manufacturing, have extensive experience creating extended versions of trucks and SUVs, making the process of lengthening the Bronco relatively straightforward, especially without needing an extra axle.

In addition to the extended wheelbase, the Stud features a five-inch lift, accommodating tires ranging from 38 inches to 40 inches due to its larger fender openings. Lightweight aluminum bumpers provide off-road protection without adding unnecessary weight, and an optional off-road armor paint guards the vehicle’s body from brush damage. Similar to the standard Bronco, the Stud allows for the removal of doors and the roof for an enjoyable open-air experience.

Inside the Stud, you’ll find a wide range of options featuring weather-resistant materials, roll cages, doors, and more, transforming it into your ideal Bronco. For those desiring the ultimate Stud experience, SoFlo Customs can retrofit all these truck conversion features onto the Bronco Raptor. This version delivers a robust 418 horsepower and 440 lb-ft of torque, thanks to its 3.0-liter twin-turbo V-6 engine and Raptor’s specialized desert suspension, all while retaining the cargo bed in the back. While it may sound like the Ranger Raptor, you won’t be able to remove the roof and doors without extensive modifications.

Similar to the JTT model, the Stud is available through Turn Key Vehicles, but unlike the JTT, there’s no cap on production numbers. To get your own, you can check their website, but be prepared for a hefty price tag.
