The beloved holiday tradition we all look forward to is just around the corner.

The Rockefeller Center tree lighting event will be broadcasted in the first week of December. This year’s magnificent tree was brought in from West Stockbridge, Massachusetts.

This is the first instance of a tree coming from Massachusetts since 1959, and it made its debut in New York City on November 9th.

Where to catch NBC’s ‘Christmas in Rockefeller Center’

The live event will be shown on December 4 starting at 8 p.m. ET, airing on NBC and available to stream on Peacock until 10 p.m. ET.

Who will host this year’s event?

This month, singer Kelly Clarkson shared that she will again host the two-hour special for the second consecutive year.

“New York during the holidays is pure magic. It feels like living in a movie. There’s nothing else like it anywhere,” she enthused on her talk show, “The Kelly Clarkson Show.”

“I can’t wait,” she added. “I’ll be bundling up again for this!”

The NBC “TODAY” show anchors Craig Melvin, Al Roker, Savannah Guthrie, and Hoda Kotb will also join the celebration.
