“If this isn’t the most manipulative text I’ve ever received, I don’t know what is. This is textbook manipulation,” Cavallari said during a passionate moment in the episode while reading a supposed Instagram direct message from Disick.

She read aloud: “Hey, it’s been such a long time. It’s kind of crazy how similar our lives have turned out. I think it would be great to catch up and talk about the stress and the challenges of parenting and the changes we’re all going through.”

The message went on: “I really miss you and wish I’d reached out sooner. I’ve just been busy trying to be the best dad. I don’t have much time for myself, but I’m trying to focus on that. Hope to hear from you soon.”

Cavallari then referred to the DM as “textbook manipulation,” adding that she has been openly critical of the Kardashian clan in recent weeks.

Cavallari mentioned that she had a fallout with Disick and Kourtney Kardashian during a period when the couple was on a break, amid tabloid speculation that she was romantically linked to Disick. Yet her candid approach in the episode received varied perspectives from listeners.
