The Weeknd Announces New Album and Exclusive Concert for 2025
The Weeknd is set to launch 2025 with a brand-new album and a special concert in California.
Titled “Hurry Up Tomorrow,” this album is the concluding part of a trilogy that began with 2020’s “After Hours” and continued with 2022’s “Dawn FM.” It is scheduled to be released on January 24. Following the album’s debut, The Weeknd will perform a unique one-night concert at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California, on January 25. The stage for this event will be set up throughout the entire stadium floor, offering a new perspective for attendees.
Tickets for the January 25 concert will be available for purchase starting at 1 p.m. ET on December 2 at TheWeeknd.com. Those with a Cash App Visa Card will have the opportunity to buy premium tickets at the same time and enjoy a discount on official merchandise sold during the concert at the Rose Bowl.
In addition, recent music releases from The Weeknd will be available in formats including vinyl, box sets, and signed CDs at XO.STORE commencing on December 2.
The Weeknd’s Upcoming Album
“Hurry Up Tomorrow” marks The Weeknd’s sixth album. He has already teased it with singles such as “Dancing in the Flames,” “Timeless” featuring Playboi Carti, and “São Paulo” featuring Anitta.
This year, The Weeknd had previously visited São Paulo as well. In September, he performed at the Estádio MorumBIS, where Anitta made a surprise appearance to perform their joint track.
Between 2022 and 2023, The Weeknd’s After Hours Til Dawn Tour entertained over 3 million fans worldwide after kicking off in Philadelphia in July 2022.
This tour showcased numerous hits, including “Can’t Feel My Face,” “Starboy,” and “Blinding Lights.”
