Holiday Card from Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan Features Special Photo of Archie and Lilibet
The holiday card from Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan has been unveiled, showcasing a rare glimpse of their children.
On Monday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared their yearly holiday card featuring two rows filled with three pictures. The standout image in the center at the top captured Harry and Meghan with open arms as their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, dashed towards them.
This card offers a unique view of Archie and Lilibet, even though their faces are mostly hidden in the image. Additionally, it displays various snapshots of the couple during different travels, including one where Meghan is seen holding a young child.
Archie, now 5 years old, was born in 2019, while Lilibet, 3, was born in 2021.
Adorned with a green background, the card concludes with a heartfelt message wishing recipients a “very happy holiday season and a joyful new year.” The couple also sent a private greeting to their friends and family.
Recently, King Charles III and Queen Camilla also shared their holiday card, which featured a familiar photo of them taken at Buckingham Palace in April.
Their card included the message, “Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and New Year.”
Prince William and Princess Kate have yet to share their Christmas card. Last year’s card featured a black-and-white family portrait of the couple with their three children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
Harry and Meghan didn’t feature their children in last year’s holiday card, as that one spotlighted their charitable efforts instead.
The release of this year’s holiday cards arrives at the end of a challenging year for the royal family, during which King Charles and Princess Kate both faced health battles, including cancer. During a recent Christmas event, Kate expressed her surprise at the difficult year she experienced, stating that “lots of people this year have had such challenging times.”
