Prince William and Princess Kate Share Heartwarming Christmas Photo with Their Children
Prince William and Princess Kate are wrapping up a challenging year with a cheerful holiday greeting.
The Prince and Princess of Wales unveiled their yearly Christmas card on Thursday, showcasing a lovely photo of them smiling alongside their three children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. This particular image was first shared in a video Kate posted in September, where she revealed her journey through chemotherapy.
The card wished everyone “A very Happy Christmas and New Year.”
In her September video, Kate shared moments with her children while narrating their experiences. She expressed her commitment to “staying cancer-free” after finishing chemotherapy but acknowledged that her “recovery journey” would be “lengthy.”
“I must take things one day at a time,” she remarked. “Nevertheless, I’m eager to return to my duties and engage in more public appearances in the coming months. Despite everything that has happened, I approach this new chapter of recovery with a fresh perspective on hope and gratitude for life.”
Earlier in the week, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan also shared their holiday card. Their card provided a rare glimpse of their children through a charming picture of Harry and Meghan reaching out as Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet joyfully ran towards them.
King Charles and Queen Camilla also released a Christmas card featuring a photo of the two taken at Buckingham Palace in April.
Princess Kate is closing out a tough year after announcing in March that she was diagnosed with cancer and would be going through “preventive chemotherapy.”
Following her chemotherapy, Kate has been participating in more royal functions and recently hosted a Christmas concert in London. In a video shared on X by Channel 5 news, Kate reflected at the event, saying, “I never anticipated that this year would unfold as it has.”
