This week, Inter Miami, Royal Caribbean, and Fanatics granted 23 wishes, providing a four-day experience that included a meeting with one of the greatest soccer players in history for Make-A-Wish children and their families.

The children, hailing from locations as diverse as South Florida, Texas, Canada, and Israel, had the chance to connect with Lionel Messi and the entire Inter Miami team on Tuesday after attending a private practice at Chase Stadium, where the Make-A-Wish families enjoyed the experience from a suite at field level, complete with personalized jerseys signed by the team.

“Seeing their smiles is wonderful, and we’re thrilled to be part of this,” commented Inter Miami midfielder Yannick Bright.

The families took a trip on Royal Caribbean’s Icon of the Seas ship on Saturday and spent Monday with Fanatics at their South Florida office, where they had a photoshoot and crafted custom plaques. They also received a plethora of trading cards, team merchandise, and some additional surprises.

Messi and Inter Miami, who are favorites for the MLS Supporters’ Shield due to their strong season, will be back in action this Saturday at home against Charlotte FC.
