It’s school season again as Season 4 of “Abbott Elementary” is now underway.
This new season of the Emmy-winning series begins on ABC this week, promising exciting episodes including a crossover with “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” a Halloween special, and a Christmas episode, revealed showrunner Quinta Brunson in her interview with US Weekly.
Brunson described the crossover episode as “very cool” and “unexpected,” saying, “I think it’ll be a delightful surprise for fans of both shows. It’s an exciting way to bring something different to TV.”
The series centers around “dedicated and passionate teachers, along with a somewhat oblivious principal,” all striving to help their students thrive at a Philadelphia public school against numerous challenges, as explained in the official show description.
“These remarkable educators might be few and far between and working with limited resources, but their love for teaching shines through, even as they deal with the school district’s lackluster approach to education,” it further details.
