Adam Sandler Hints at Exciting Cameos in Upcoming ‘Happy Gilmore 2’ Release!

‘Happy Gilmore 2’ release date, cameos revealed by Adam Sandler

Guess who’s making a comeback? It’s Happy Gilmore  along with Eminem.

During a recent appearance on the “Dan Patrick Show,” Adam Sandler disclosed that the rapper known for “Without Me” will make a cameo in the upcoming comedy sequel “Happy Gilmore 2.”

Although Sandler kept the specifics of Eminem’s role under wraps, he mentioned that it would be a quick appearance.

“I’ve known Eminem for quite some time, and he’s a fantastic guy,” Sandler shared. “We spent a day hanging out with him, and he was hilarious. He tossed out so many great lines that we can use.”

The comedian also let slip that the legendary golfer Jack Nicklaus will also feature in the film. Sandler noted that “many great golfers came by” for a particular scene where he shared a moment with Nicklaus.

Sandler shared this exciting news even though he mentioned being asked not to engage in promotional activities for the film. He quipped, “They’re going to be upset with me regardless.”

The existence of “Happy Gilmore 2” was first hinted at by original actor Christopher McDonald earlier this year, when he said Sandler showed him an early version of the script. Sandler later remarked that McDonald wasn’t supposed to make this announcement publicly.

“He texted me later saying, ‘Just to let you know, that thing you told me not to mention? I mentioned it,'” Sandler joked during the “Dan Patrick Show.”

‘Happy Gilmore 2’ release date hinted by Adam Sandler

During the interview on “Dan Patrick Show,” Sandler hinted at a potential release window for the film, which has recently wrapped up production.

The comedian mentioned that “Happy Gilmore 2” is likely to hit Netflix in July of next year, although he made it clear that he is not entirely certain about this timing.

“I can’t say for sure, but I think it will be around July,” he indicated. “Not specifically July 4, but we’re aiming for that month. But then again, things can change. We’re just finishing things up today.”

‘Happy Gilmore 2’ cast and cameos: What’s the lineup for the comedy sequel?

Julie Bowen and Christopher McDonald are confirmed to reprise their roles as Virginia Venit and Shooter McGavin, respectively. Ben Stiller has also been seen on set.

Moreover, Dan Patrick, Bad Bunny, Travis Kelce, and Margaret Qualley are all set to make cameo appearances.

In September, during her appearance on “The Tonight Show,” Qualley humorously claimed her husband Jack Antonoff convinced Sandler that she could play golf to land a role in the movie, as the original is her all-time favorite film. She clarified that her part is quite small and described her role as being “essentially background.”

Sandler confirmed on “The Tonight Show” that they have something special planned for Travis Kelce: “He’s coming in. He’s a really nice guy. Everyone would love him in person.”
