Alex Cooper’s ‘Call Her Daddy’ Podcast Signs Exciting New Partnership with SiriusXM

Alex Cooper’s ‘Call Her Daddy’ podcast strikes a big deal with SiriusXM

The agreement, reportedly valued at up to $125 million, allows SiriusXM to market content for “Call Her Daddy” and any shows from The Unwell Network, Cooper’s talent group.

Alex Cooper, host of the well-known podcast “Call Her Daddy,” has formed a multi-year partnership with SiriusXM, replacing Spotify as her distribution and advertising collaborator, the company announced on Tuesday.

Ranking as Spotify’s second most-listened podcast in 2023, trailing only “The Joe Rogan Experience,” “Call Her Daddy” was noted as the top choice among female audiences. SiriusXM plans to introduce “exclusive content” for Cooper’s shows in 2025, as disclosed in a SiriusXM press release.

According to CNN, Cooper’s deal with SiriusXM is valued at $125 million, significantly higher than her previous agreement with Spotify. Variety estimated that the figure could be closer to $100 million.

YSL News has contacted SiriusXM for more information about the deal.

As Cooper transitions to SiriusXM, the company will handle the advertising and distribution for “Call Her Daddy” and all current and upcoming shows from The Unwell Network, which was launched by Cooper last year.

“I am extremely excited to collaborate with SiriusXM,” Cooper stated. “The Daddy Gang will always be my foremost focus, and together with SiriusXM, we will continue to innovate and enhance my listeners’ experiences. The Daddy Gang wants more content, and we are prepared to deliver … I am eager for this new chapter to begin.”

SiriusXM claims ‘Call Her Daddy’ is ‘the leading podcast for women’

Since its start in 2018, Cooper and her former co-host Sofia Franklyn have been igniting discussions on the podcast, featuring celebrity guests like Miley Cyrus and Rebel Wilson, and covering various topics related to relationships and intimacy.

Wilson joined Cooper in early July to share insights about “her journey to love and motherhood.”

The “Call Her Daddy” website explains that “Cooper tackles the critical questions with honesty, covering topics and interviewing guests that get straight to the point.”

SiriusXM recognizes Cooper as a pioneer in the podcasting realm, commending her for establishing a unique space that was previously nonexistent.

According to SiriusXM’s announcement, “Call Her Daddy” serves as a platform that encourages, empowers, and enables women to share their unfiltered stories and truths. The podcast has drawn millions of listeners each episode, claiming its title as the leading podcast for women on Spotify worldwide.

“Cooper’s daring and candid approach, where no subject is off-limits, has built a fervent and loyal following that is unparalleled in podcasting, aligning perfectly with the kind of content that SiriusXM listeners have come to cherish,” stated SiriusXM President Scott Greenstein.

‘Call Her Daddy’ and additional projects will remain accessible on Spotify

Despite the new deal, “Call Her Daddy” and Cooper’s other projects under The Unwell Network will still be available for streaming on Spotify, as confirmed by a Spotify spokesperson to YSL News.

From July 2021 until January 2024, full episodes of “Call Her Daddy” were exclusively on Spotify, after which audio-only episodes became available on other platforms, as reported by Variety.

Under the new SiriusXM agreement, the company has also acquired “exclusive global advertising rights for the video and audio formats” of Cooper’s “Call Her Daddy” and other current shows from The Unwell Network, which features titles like “Hot Mess with Alix Earle,” “Pretty Lonesome with Madeline Argy,” “Boyfriend Material with Harry Jowsey,” and “In Your Dreams with Owen Thiele.”
