These highly desired passes, which vanished in just seconds last year, will be available for purchase once again next week. This time, customers have a better shot at snatching one of the 3,000 Date Night Passes that will be up for grabs.

Applebee’s launched this initiative to celebrate “date night” in February 2024, providing customers with discounts on food and non-alcoholic drinks at participating locations nationwide for a whole year. The 2025 edition of the Date Night Pass offers patrons a total discount of $50 to be used 12 times from March 2025 to February 2026.

Club Applebee’s members can register by Wednesday, February 12 at 11:59 p.m. ET for a chance to buy the pass for $100. Those lucky 3,000 members will find out on Valentine’s Day if they’ve been randomly chosen.

“We not only prepare meals for our guests, but we also create memories. From first dates to birthdays, anniversaries, and any occasion in between, there’s always a reason to celebrate at Applebee’s,” remarked Joel Yashinsky, Applebee’s marketing executive. “Our exclusive Date Night Pass is an excellent way to keep the festivities alive each month throughout the year, offering exceptional value.”

Applebee’s Date Night Passes Generate Online Buzz

When Applebee’s initially sold out of passes last year, many voiced their disappointment on social media over missed chances.

Others expressed frustration online, claiming they were on the website in time but still missed out, with some stating the entire process felt “very disorganized.”

Following the online uproar, the restaurant chain opted to release an additional 1,000 Date Night Passes through a random drawing a few days later.

What is an Applebee’s Date Night Pass?

This card, provided by Applebee’s, grants customers a $50 discount on food and non-alcoholic drinks at any participating location once a month for a year, applicable for dine-in or takeout orders. The Date Night Passes can be used for 12 visits between March 1, 2025, and February 28, 2026.

How Can I Obtain an Applebee’s Date Night Pass?

Those wishing to secure one or more of these highly sought-after passes must be a Club Applebee’s member and register on the Applebee’s website for a chance to buy one by Wednesday, February 12 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

The 3,000 winning members will receive an email from Applebee’s on Valentine’s Day, February 14, notifying them of their random selection to purchase the pass for $100.

Additionally, couples can participate in Applebee’s social media sweepstakes for a chance to win the “ultimate” date night experience at any Applebee’s location of their choice by using #ApplebeesDateNightChallenge and #Sweepstakes in their posts starting March 1.

Twelve winners will be randomly selected each month to receive a $100 gift card for their upcoming Applebee’s date night.
