Harnessing the Power of Tiny Creatures: The Electric Mite Revolution

Mites who hitchhike on the beaks of hummingbirds use a surprising method to help them on their journey: electricity. These hummingbird flower mites feed on nectar and live within specific flowers for their species. When it is time to seek out a new flower, they hitch a ride via hummingbirds, but for years researchers have

Bachelorette Star Devin Strader Faces Legal Drama as Ex-Partnership Turns Turbulent

‘Bachelorette’ participant Devin Strader’s former partner obtained a restraining order following a house burglary

Legal documents acquired by YSL News indicate that Strader yelled at his ex, pounded on her door, and eventually broke into her home, leading her to seek the order. She claims he burned the order in the street.

Devin Strader, a contestant on “The Bachelorette,” has a history of being convicted for breaking into the home of an ex-girlfriend in Louisiana, as revealed in recently accessed court documents that depict him as volatile and aggressive.

Strader’s ex-girlfriend secured a restraining order against him after law enforcement reported that he burglarized her residence in Baton Rouge in March 2017, following their breakup, according to court records obtained on Tuesday by YSL News.

The identity of the ex-girlfriend has not been disclosed by the Baton Rouge Police Department. She alleged that Strader lived just a couple of doors away and took back a diamond necklace he had given her when she was away, based on an arrest warrant affidavit initially highlighted by Reality Steve.

In the days leading up to the burglary, she claimed Strader had been at her home, “banging on the door several times and screaming at her.” Following these incidents, she decided to stay at her mother’s house for several days and subsequently pursued a restraining order after the burglary occurred, as per court documents.

YSL News has made attempts to reach out to an attorney associated with Strader.

Strader’s ex claims he burned the restraining order and damaged her property

On the same day that he was served the restraining order, Strader’s ex reported that he “made a fire out in the street with what seemed to be the actual restraining order,” according to the affidavit.

Additionally, she claimed that Strader had flattened a tire on her car and then laughed at her when she was outside changing it.

Strader pleaded guilty to trespassing and simple criminal damage to property, which resulted in a fine of less than $500 and a year of unsupervised probation.

Strader ended his engagement with Jenn Tran on the phone

These recent disclosures have increased Strader’s controversial status within Bachelor Nation, particularly following his engagement breakup with Season 28 contestant Jenn Tran.

During the “After the Final Rose” episode, host Jesse Palmer revealed that Tran’s final choice, Strader, ended their engagement with a 15-minute phone call in August while the season aired.

“He basically told me that he didn’t love me anymore and that he didn’t feel the same way,” Tran recounted, adding that “he denied ever having loved me.” She noted that Strader refused to attend couple’s counseling as he “didn’t want to fight for the relationship anymore.”

Strader explained that he started to feel uncertain during their two-month engagement but asserted that he had been open about his feelings from the start.

“I let you down, but everything I felt for you was genuine.” Strader stated. “I was regretfully slow to communicate my feelings. You are absolutely correct.”
