‘Quiet on Set’ Producer Examines Diddy Abuse Claims in New Docuseries: Check Out the Trailer
With Sean “Diddy” Combs facing serious legal challenges, numerous individuals are sharing their experiences in a docuseries documenting allegations of his abusive behavior.
Investigation Discovery unveiled a trailer for its forthcoming docuseries titled “The Fall of Diddy,” which brings attention to the controversial music executive. This four-part series, produced by Maxine Productions and Rolling Stone Films, will showcase “exclusive, previously unheard testimonies and unseen archival footage,” shedding light on the “disturbing allegations of violence and unlawful acts” against Combs that have resurfaced recently.
“Covering Combs’ extensive influence on music and culture over the years, from his beginnings as a gifted artist to his arrest in 2024, the series reveals the hidden and shocking claims of sexual assault, abusive conduct, violence, and other alarming accusations that underlie his achievements,” Investigation Discovery stated in a press release.
Combs was apprehended in September 2024 on racketeering, sex trafficking, and transporting individuals for prostitution charges. He is currently incarcerated in the Special Housing Unit of Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center. A trial for the Grammy-winning artist, who refutes all allegations, is scheduled to begin on May 5.
His alleged misconduct drew attention in November 2023 when his former girlfriend, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, accused Combs of rape, sex trafficking, and physical abuse in a lawsuit that was quickly settled the day after filing. This lawsuit prompted a wave of additional civil lawsuits alleging similar claims against the hip-hop mogul and sparked a couple of federal investigations.
The docuseries will feature over 30 interviews with Combs’ associates, including former friends, colleagues, and employees, like D. Woods from Danity Kane.
The trailer released on Thursday includes appearances by Thalia Graves and Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones Jr., both of whom have accused Combs of sexual assault. Graves recalls in the video: “I always thought I was the only victim” regarding her claim of rape by Combs and his bodyguard in 2001.
Jones, who served as a producer for Combs’ “The Love Album: Off the Grid,” claimed in a lawsuit filed in February 2024 that the rapper “forcibly touched” him and alleged that Combs and his team were involved in “a sex-trafficking operation.”
“There are many people like Puffy in the music industry,” says Jones in the trailer. “Bringing Puffy to light means bringing them to light as well.”
In addition to this series, another exposé exploring Combs’ alleged misconduct will be available on Peacock, titled “Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy,” set to premiere on Tuesday.
“The Fall of Diddy” is set to debut in two parts on January 27 and January 28 at 9 p.m. ET on Investigation Discovery. Viewers will also have the option to stream the episodes on Max.
