Beyoncé Hints at NFL Halftime Show with ‘A Cowboy Carter Christmas’
Beyoncé is gearing up for her much-anticipated halftime performance on Christmas Day, which she has named “A Cowboy Carter Christmas.”
The Grammy-winning artist shared a teaser clip on her Instagram on Wednesday for her halftime show during the NFL matchup between the Ravens and Texans on December 25 in Houston.
In the brief video, Beyoncé walks confidently through the snow and hangs a football ornament on a holiday-themed cactus. Wearing stylish blond braids and an all-white ensemble complete with a fluffy cowboy hat, she strikes a pose as the cactus lights up. In her caption, she wrote simply, “A Cowboy Carter Christmas. Houston, Texas 12.25.”
As fans know, Beyoncé will perform during halftime at the Baltimore versus Houston game at NRG Stadium on Christmas Day. This performance will air live on Netflix and marks the first time she will showcase songs from her latest album, “Cowboy Carter.” Fans are already buzzing with excitement, contributing to soaring ticket sales for the event.
Beyoncé initially unveiled the album during a surprise Super Bowl commercial back in February, where she introduced the singles “16 Carriages” and “Texas Hold ‘Em.” The release of these songs created a huge stir online, much like the subsequent album.
The game kicks off at 4:30 p.m. ET on Christmas Day.
