Billie Eilish Displays Major Bruise After Stumble on Stage at Concert

Billie Eilish reveals a painful bruise after falling down stairs during performance

Billie Eilish has shown her fans a significant bruise after a heavy fall during one of her concerts.

The 22-year-old singer, known for “Birds of a Feather,” shared a video on her Instagram story on Tuesday. It captured her stumbling while descending a staircase at Madison Square Garden during her Hit Me Hard and Soft tour.

In the footage, Eilish is seen waving to the audience when she picks up speed and then trips, falling forward. She shared this moment humorously on Instagram with a skull emoji.

Following the video, she uploaded a picture showing a large bruise on her thigh with the caption, “But literally,” indicating the extent of her injury.

Eilish is currently touring to promote her third studio album, “Hit Me Hard and Soft,” which was released in May. She has lined up several performances at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Her unfortunate fall followed another recent concert incident. Olivia Rodrigo, 21, also made headlines when she fell through a trapdoor during her Guts World Tour performance in Melbourne, Australia. Video captured Rodrigo running right before she unexpectedly fell but she managed to get back up quickly.

She humorously remarked after her fall, “Oh my God, that was fun. I’m fine. Sometimes, there’s just a hole in the stage. But that’s alright. Anyway, how are you tonight, Melbourne?”

It remains unclear why the trapdoor was left open during Rodrigo’s performance.

Earlier this year, Madonna also experienced a fall while on her Celebration tour when a dancer slipped while moving her in a chair, leading to both of them tumbling during a performance of “Open Your Heart.” After taking a moment on the floor, the 66-year-old singer laughed it off and continued with her performance.

Eilish is set to continue her Hit Me Hard and Soft tour with shows in Atlanta on November 2 and 3.
