Chipotle to Give Away 50,000 Free Meals During Super Bowl 59: Here’s How to Participate
On Tuesday, Chipotle announced that it will be giving away up to 50,000 free meals to fans tuning into Super Bowl 59 on Sunday, February 9, in celebration of all things “extra.”
The restaurant chain revealed that whenever something “extra” occurs in the game, they will share a text-to-claim code through a tweet from @ChipotleTweets on X, as well as on a story shared by @Chipotle on Instagram.
Examples of what Chipotle considers “extra” events include:
- The offensive team makes a fourth down conversion
- The offensive team successfully kicks an extra point
- The offensive team scores a two-point conversion
- Any other significant event during the game deemed “extra” by Chipotle
The first fans to send a text with the given code to 888-222 will earn a free entree code from Chipotle, up to the limit specified in each announcement, as stated in their press release.
Customers Can Enjoy Free Guacamole and Queso on Monday After the Game
Additionally, Chipotle has shared that members of Chipotle Rewards can get a complimentary side of guacamole and queso blanco with any entree purchase on Monday, February 10. This offer is only available through the Chipotle app and Chipotle.com using the promo code “EXTRA25.”
This promotion is in honor of “Extra Sunday,” a made-up holiday celebrating the wish of football fans to have the day off following the Super Bowl. “Extra Sunday” marks the first time customers can receive both guacamole and queso for free at the same time, according to the news release.
