The 58th annual Country Music Association Awards took place in Nashville on Wednesday evening, celebrating this year’s standout performances, songs, and artists in country music.

Amid a night filled with musical talent and unforgettable moments, Lainey Wilson and Chris Stapleton, who were crowned vocalists of the year, took home major awards during the ceremony held at the Bridgestone Arena in Music City and aired on ABC. A special tribute to George Strait’s music catalog also took center stage, with the legendary “King of Country Music” himself performing and receiving the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award.

Various nominees competed for prestigious awards, such as new artist of the year, single of the year, album of the year, and the highly sought-after entertainer of the year award, which was awarded to Morgan Wallen. The top nominees for the evening included Wilson, Stapleton, Wallen, Cody Johnson, and Post Malone.
