Rescue of Chargers Players from Elevator Incident by Dallas Fire-Rescue
Last Friday night was quite eventful for some players from the Los Angeles Chargers.
The team announced on social media that a group of players, along with some staff members, became trapped in an “inoperable elevator” at their hotel in the Dallas area.
Resolving the issue necessitated a response from Dallas Fire-Rescue, who utilized significant manpower to assist. According to the Chargers, fire-rescue personnel were able to extract everyone from the elevator through its ceiling panel and relocate them to a functioning elevator nearby.
“The Los Angeles Chargers express their gratitude to Dallas Fire-Rescue for their prompt action, professionalism, and tireless efforts in making sure everyone was safe,” the team stated.
The exact number of players involved in the incident has not been disclosed, nor have their names been revealed by the Chargers.
The Chargers are set to compete against the Dallas Cowboys Saturday afternoon at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, marking their last preseason game.
