Davante Adams Injury Update: Jets Wide Receiver Returns and Scores After Concussion Evaluation
The New York Jets found themselves engaged in a tight matchup against the Houston Texans during “Thursday Night Football.”
Concerns arose about the possibility of losing Davante Adams, one of their star receivers, during the game.
As the Jets worked to finish the third quarter, Adams made a crucial 17-yard play on a pivotal fourth-and-1 situation at the Texans’ 48-yard line. He managed to outpace Houston’s Kamari Lassiter right from the snap and advanced beyond the first-down marker before cornerback Eric Murray pushed him out of bounds.
However, after that play, Adams took some time to get back on his feet and was later assessed for a concussion. He was visible on the field during this evaluation.
