Pac-12 Moves Forward: What’s Next for Georgia? Predictions for Week 4 Matchups in College Football
The Pac-12 is proving its resilience. Last week’s announcement about the addition of four schools—Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, and San Diego State—indicates that the conference isn’t fading away. However, the question remains whether these new members will help restore the league’s former prestige.
In action last week, Georgia faced a tough challenge against Kentucky, leading to doubts regarding their standing as the No. 1 team in the nation. Meanwhile, Texas is also in the spotlight due to quarterback Quinn Ewers’ injury, while backup Arch Manning is performing well.
Week 3 didn’t improve the situation for either Florida State or Florida, as both lost at home, making their combined record a disappointing 1-5. Although the Seminoles are staying put with their coaching staff for now, there are serious questions surrounding Gators coach Billy Napier’s status.
As we move into Week 4, conference games take center stage, with several teams set to experience their new leagues for the first time. Oklahoma will host Tennessee for its first SEC matchup, Southern California will debut in the Big Ten at Michigan, and Utah will commence its Big 12 journey in Oklahoma. Who will come out on top?
This week, Dan Wolken and Paul Myerberg of YSL News Sports delve into these topics and much more in the latest edition of College Football Fix.
