Delta Airlines and Shake Shack Join Forces to Serve Delicious Cheeseburgers in the Sky This December

Delta Air Lines partners with Shake Shack to serve cheeseburgers on select flights starting December

Delta Air Lines has joined forces with Shake Shack, bringing an exciting new dining option for travelers.

This partnership will introduce cheeseburgers to first-class passengers on long-haul domestic flights starting December 1, beginning with flights departing from Boston.

According to Delta, there are plans to expand this burger service to additional cities throughout the next year.

“A cheeseburger is a classic comfort dish that our customers love, which is why it’s one of our most popular menu items. We’re excited to enhance this offering with Shake Shack,” stated Stephanie Laster, Delta’s managing director of onboard service.

Here’s what you need to know about this new menu item.

As per the announcement, passengers can customize their Shake Shack cheeseburgers with toppings including tomatoes, lettuce, and ShackSauce, all provided on the side.

In addition to the burger, Delta will also offer a Caesar salad and a dark chocolate brownie inspired by Shake Shack’s dessert flavors.

Delta’s ongoing collaborations

This isn’t the first time Delta has partnered with a renowned food brand; they have previously worked with chef Danny Meyer, founder of Shake Shack, who has supplied meals for Delta flights in the past.

“We are thrilled to elevate the cheeseburger experience with Delta, enhancing the in-flight dining and hospitality for travelers nationwide,” said Michael Kark, president of Global Licensing at Shake Shack.
