“Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain,” Oz shouts desperately, but it falls on deaf ears.

As the Democratic National Convention kicks off Monday, citizens should take one crucial action: overlook the appealing messaging and investigate the truth behind it.

The DNC will strive to create an impressive event. However, it’s nothing more than a charade. The Democratic Party is promoting disastrous policies that will impact Americans negatively.

Biden, Obama, and Clinton take the stage!

On Monday evening, President Joe Biden and former candidate Hillary Clinton are expected to address attendees. Former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton will take the stage on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively. Following Bill Clinton, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, the vice presidential nominee, will speak, and Kamala Harris, the presidential nominee, will wrap up the convention on Thursday evening.

By featuring the charismatic Clintons and Obama, the DNC conveys a subtle message: support us, and you’ll have this kind of leadership.

However, the Harris-Walz duo lacks any resemblance to the former presidents in terms of substance or policies—they are significantly more detrimental.

In terms of charm and charisma, they are nowhere near the previous leaders’ appeal.

The DNC hopes that the star-studded line-up of speakers will distract from the reality that Harris and Walz are lacking in capability.

Biden, Harris, and Walz represent failure

The events of the past month highlight the Democratic Party’s chaotic dishonesty. Biden was sidelined once it was clear he was unfit for the presidential race—leading him towards a likely loss against former President Donald Trump.

In a shocking turn, Harris was appointed the party’s nominee without running in any primary. The rapid transition from Biden’s withdrawal to Harris’ ascension is unmatched in modern political history. Yet, the Democrats pressed forward, avoiding questions about the process’s legitimacy.

Harris selected Walz, a liberal governor from a highly progressive state, and together they present a façade of normalcy and positivity for America.

But don’t be misled. The Democrats have been dishonest about their disorder since the very start.

The proposals of the Democratic Party are concerning too. The Harris-Walz ticket promotes extreme-left policies that may seem beneficial for aiding the middle class and lower-income families, but, if executed, they would lead to higher government expenditure, increased taxes, and financial strain for many Americans.

The media will manipulate, just wait

Even if the DNC is plagued by disarray, it will be spun positively.

How do I know this? We’ve seen it since Biden’s performance declined during his debate with Trump on June 27.

With no interviews granted, Time magazine featured a cover illustration of Harris gazing upward, accompanied by the headline, “HER MOMENT.”

Similarly, Essence magazine showcased a headline declaring, “KAMALA HARRIS: PURPOSE, POWER & FREEDOM.”

Now, contrast this with Trump’s media treatment. A recent Vanity Fair headline reads, “Does Anyone Understand What Donald Trump Is Talking About Anymore?”

The disparity in coverage is absurd.

The praise showered upon Harris by the media reminds me of a line from “Gladiator,” where after Commodus’ coup enters Rome triumphantly. “He enters Rome like a conquering hero,” Gracchus comments. “What has he conquered?”

Today in America, if you belong to the Democratic Party, your presidential candidate doesn’t have to achieve anything, or even engage in interviews, to receive accolades as a leader.

The DNC may feature a chorus of charismatic speakers, but beyond the extravagant display is a party engulfed in turmoil, attempting to sell their candidates and leftist solutions as remedies for America’s issues.
