Daughter of former MLB player Greg Swindell goes missing, extensive search across multiple states is ongoing

Police in Austin reported Brenna Swindell, 29, as missing on Monday. She was last seen at a bar in Texas on Thursday, and her vehicle was located in Colorado.

Authorities announced that the family of a missing 29-year-old mother of three, Brenna Swindell, daughter of former MLB pitcher Greg Swindell, reported her disappearance in Austin, prompting a search across several states.

Brenna, whose father is Greg Swindell, a former MLB pitcher with a 17-year career and a notable record at the University of Texas, has not been seen since last Thursday, as shared in a Facebook update by her mother, Sarah Swindell.

Her sudden disappearance is unusual, noted in the post, as Brenna would “never leave her three children or vanish without a reason.”

The Austin Police Department stated that Brenna Swindell and her ex-partner, Morgan Guidry, were last spotted together around 10:20 p.m. Thursday at Poodies Hilltop Roadhouse in Spicewood, Texas, which is about 35 miles northwest of Austin. By Friday evening, officials confirmed they tracked her white 2022 Kia Carnival with Texas license plate VFS 7528 to Colorado.

A flyer from the organization Missing People in America suggests that Brenna Swindell’s ex-boyfriend and her vehicle might have been seen in Colorado Springs.

Additionally, her mother’s Facebook update indicates that both Brenna’s and her ex-boyfriend’s mobile phones “seem to be in Colorado but are turned off.”

Brenna Swindell stands at 5 feet 5 inches and weighs around 120 pounds. She has brown hair that falls to her shoulders, a flower sleeve tattoo on one arm, and a spider web tattoo on the other shoulder, according to her mother’s post.
