For those seeking travel ideas, Travel + Leisure has unveiled its “Where to Go in 2025” list on Wednesday. The team, consisting of nearly twenty members, carefully examined around 120 destinations globally to select the 50 that made the final cut, ranging from Slovenia to the Apostle Islands in Wisconsin.

“Being included in our list involves more than just a couple of exciting openings,” commented Alisha Prakash, associate editorial director at Travel + Leisure. “These destinations embody the essence of the moment, whether due to their exceptional outdoor access, unique cultural experiences, thrilling excitement, or luxurious comfort that only a true five-star hotel can provide.”

The list caters to all types of travelers, featuring seven primary categories: cultural immersion, nature enthusiasts, urban adventures, experiences on the water, food and drink, beach escapes, and adventurous spirits.

“While each of these 50 notable destinations has its unique charm, all are deserving of exploration in the upcoming year,” Prakash added.
