Former President Donald Trump gave an acceptance speech in Palm Beach, Florida early Wednesday morning, vowing to “bring back greatness to America.”

At a victory celebration in Florida early Wednesday, former President Donald Trump expressed to his supporters that his re-election represented “a wonderful victory for the American people.”

 

Trump spoke to the audience at the Palm Beach County Convention Center at 2:30 a.m. ET after achieving wins in three vital swing states: North Carolina, Georgia, and Pennsylvania.

Having won the 2016 election against then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and lost to then-Vice President Joe Biden in 2020, Trump clinched the necessary 270 electoral votes for re-election at 5:34 a.m. ET on Wednesday.

In his 25-minute address, Trump remarked that the campaign “overcame hurdles that no one thought achievable,” referencing two assassination attempts he faced during his summer campaign.

Accompanying Trump on stage were his wife Melania Trump, their sons Donald Jr., Eric, and Barron, daughter Ivanka Trump and her spouse Jared Kushner, along with vice presidential candidate JD Vance and Dana White, CEO of the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

 

Focusing on issues such as immigration and the economy, Trump stated that during his next term he would “secure our borders” and “address everything about our country.”

Furthermore, he pledged to “assist in healing our nation.”

“This will genuinely be America’s golden age,” Trump proclaimed. “This is a wonderful victory for the American people that will enable us to make America great again.”
