Changes in the US LBM Coaches Poll top 10 after Week 12 with BYU and Tennessee dropping

The latest US LBM Coaches Poll reveals some shifts in the top 10 following Week 12, although the top position remains unchanged.

Oregon continues to be the unanimous No. 1 on all 55 ballots, despite a close game against Wisconsin. Ohio State stays at No. 2 after an easier match against Northwestern, while Texas holds steady at No. 3 after a hard-fought win against Arkansas. Penn State moves back up to No. 4, and unbeaten Indiana marks a significant milestone by entering the top five before their key game against the Buckeyes in Columbus.

Notre Dame is set to be ranked sixth as they prepare to face unbeaten and 17th-ranked Army next week. Alabama rises two spots to land at No. 7, just ahead of Georgia, who defeated Tennessee. The Volunteers drop seven spots to No. 11, while Mississippi and Miami (Fla.) complete the top 10. Brigham Young falls seven positions to No. 15 following their first loss of the season against unranked Kansas.

There were numerous adjustments further down the rankings, with No. 20 Tulane and No. 22 Arizona State leading the charge of four teams entering the Top 25. No. 23 UNLV and No. 24 Memphis are also making a return. Kansas State just clings to the No. 25 ranking after their defeat by Arizona State.

Washington State, Missouri, LSU, and Louisville have dropped out of the rankings.
