‘I will be annoyed by his squeaky voice’: Drew Bledsoe on Tom Brady’s broadcasting debut
Drew Bledsoe humorously criticized his former teammate Tom Brady as Brady gets ready to start his broadcasting career this NFL season.
In a conversation with YSL News’s Mackenzie Salmon, Bledsoe—who was the New England Patriots’ first-string quarterback before Brady—shared both encouragement and a humorous jab aimed at his long-time friend.
“I know he’ll excel at this because he’ll dedicate himself and put in the effort,” Bledsoe stated.
With a grin, Bledsoe continued, “His squeaky voice might drive me crazy, but I’m confident he’ll do exceptionally well.”
This is not the first time Bledsoe has poked fun at Brady. He appeared on Netflix’s “The Roast of Tom Brady” in May, where he jokingly referred to Brady as the “worst backup quarterback in NFL history” during Brady’s Hall of Fame induction in June.
Brady is set to make his broadcasting debut as a Fox analyst on September 8, covering the Dallas Cowboys in their opening game against the Cleveland Browns.
