In a dramatic Week 8 showdown, the Washington Commanders found themselves in dire straits against the Chicago Bears, starting their last drive with just 23 seconds on the clock. It was a fitting conclusion when their “Hail Mary” attempt was successful, sealing a win as time expired.
With only two seconds remaining and Washington down 15-12 while still stuck in their own half, rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels had one last opportunity for a 52-yard pass into the end zone.
