Next year, the cruise line will reprise its Ultimate Mediterranean & Atlantic Passage cruise, setting sail round-trip from New York City. This voyage will touch 21 ports over 45 days, inspired by an itinerary dating back to 1925.

The cruise will set sail on October 8, 2026, aboard the 1,432-guest capacity ship, Volendam.
What destinations will the cruise cover?
Cruisers will start their journey with a transatlantic crossing, including five days at sea, before arriving at the first port in Ponta Delgada, located in Portugal’s Azores. The itinerary also includes stops in Lisbon; Barcelona, Spain; and Livorno and Civitavecchia in Italy, granting access to Florence and Pisa, and Rome, respectively, along with Heraklion in Crete and more.
Moreover, the cruise plan features overnight stays in Alexandria, Egypt, and Istanbul, Turkey, with multiple late-night departures. Overall, travelers will visit 12 different countries on this adventure.
This cruise is part of several Legendary Voyages recently announced by the line, including a 28-Day Legendary Arctic Circle Solstice voyage, a Legendary Glaciers & Volcanoes cruise from Alaska to Hawaii that offers 27 or 28-day options, among others.

Prices for the journey begin at $7,574 per person, based on double occupancy, and this rate includes all taxes and fees.
