‘RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All Stars’: Release details, contestants, streaming info


The beloved series “RuPaul’s Drag Race” is making a return, and this time it’s going international.

 

The new series, “RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All Stars,” will debut exclusively on Paramount+ this week, featuring two all-new episodes, as announced by the streaming service last month.

A total of 12 “fan favorite” queens from across the globe will compete for the title of “Queen of the Mothertucking World,” along with a grand prize of $200,000 and an esteemed spot in the international pavilion at the Drag Race Hall of Fame, according to Paramount+.

RuPaul, the eight-time Emmy Award-winning host and executive producer, expressed excitement by stating, “The world is not ready for ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All Stars.’ Twelve queens representing their home countries raises the stakes to a whole new level. The mix of charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent will, pardon my French, blow your minds,” he said in the news release.

‘RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All Stars’ launch date

The series will start streaming exclusively on Paramount+ on Friday, August 16, featuring two fresh episodes.

Viewers in Latin America, Brazil, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, and Austria will have access starting Tuesday, Sept. 20. French audiences can tune in the following day, with Japan expected to follow later in the year, as per last month’s news release from the company.

‘RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All Stars’ judging panel

Each week, the judges will include RuPaul, Michelle Visage, and director/choreographer Jamal Sims, along with a rotating selection of guest judges.

 

Among the guest judges set to appear are Adriana Lima, Carson Kressley, Diane Brill, Graham Norton, and Danna Paola, among many others, as previously reported by Paramount+.
