According to Deadline, the popular young adult series has amassed over 15 million views as fans have tuned in to follow The Pogues on their latest escapade. Part 1 even topped the “Global Top 10 English Television,” as noted in a Netflix press release.
Before Part 2’s debut, Netflix revealed that Season 5 is already in development. The show’s creators, Shannon Burke, Josh Pate, and Jonas Pate, hinted that the finale, which will be a feature-length episode, will lay the groundwork for the upcoming season.
In an unexpected announcement, Netflix shared that this will be the last season of “Outer Banks.” The creators penned a heartfelt message to fans regarding the conclusion of the show.
“With bittersweet emotions, we’re wrapping up Season Four and looking ahead to Season Five, where we aim to bring our cherished Pogues back home as we envisioned and planned years ago,” part of their letter expressed. “Season Five will be our final season, and we genuinely believe it will be our finest one yet.
