Thanksgiving Takeout: Places to Order Your Holiday Meal

Having kitchen troubles? Hosting surprise visitors? Is your turkey ruined?

These situations can lead to the need for a last-minute Thanksgiving meal to-go.

Restaurants nationwide are serving their own versions of the traditional holiday fare, both for dine-in and takeout. Enjoying the meal at home can simplify the holiday experience, eliminating the hassle of cleaning up while still allowing for a delightful ambiance reminiscent of a Norman Rockwell painting.

Time is running out to order, as many establishments have cut-off dates for online purchases.

Here are some restaurants where you can still get a Thanksgiving meal to-go.

Restaurants Providing Thanksgiving Meals to Go

Bahama Breeze

This Caribbean-themed chain, with locations in 15 states, is offering a jerk turkey dinner at select locations.

Individual meals are priced between $25.99, while a bundle serving four costs about $100. The meal includes turkey, green beans, brioche stuffing, cranberry-pineapple chutney, a choice of mashed potatoes or cinnamon sweet potatoes, plus a slice of pumpkin praline cheesecake.

This meal is available for pre-order and can be collected on Thanksgiving Day.

Bob Evans

Bob Evans has several options for a Thanksgiving meal.

Customers can pre-order a “Farmhouse Feast” featuring either ham or turkey, which can serve four or eight guests. Each feast includes the selected main dish, bread and celery dressing, corn, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans with ham, cranberry relish, rolls, and pumpkin pie.

Additionally, there is a “Premium Farmhouse Feast” designed for ten people that includes both main dishes, plus the sides from the standard feast, macaroni and cheese, and both pumpkin and apple pie.

Orders can be placed via the restaurant’s website.

Brio Italian Grille

Brio Italian Grille provides a turkey meal suitable for individuals, families, or larger gatherings.

This offering includes white turkey meat, gravy, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, Italian sausage stuffing, seasonal vegetables, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie. Family meals serve four to five people, while catering options can accommodate eight to ten.

Family and catering orders can be picked up until Nov. 27, while individual meals will be available only on Thanksgiving Day.

Cracker Barrel

Cracker Barrel has three to-go options available for Thanksgiving Day.

The restaurant chain offers a traditional turkey dinner, a chicken and dumplings meal, and a “Country Vegetable Plate.”

You can pre-order these meals via their website, but they will only be available on Thanksgiving Day.

Kona Grill

Kona Grill offers two Thanksgiving meal options for pre-order and pick-up on the holiday.

The macadamia nut turkey meal is priced at $38 for one or $76 for two, while the traditional meal costs $35 for one or $70 for two.

Pre-orders must be made before Thanksgiving Day.

Popeyes

Popeyes has brought back their popular Cajun-style turkey for 2024.

This item, which was highly sought after last year, was sold out online, but the restaurant notes that it may still be available at some locations. Customers are encouraged to reach out directly to their local store for availability. The turkey starts at $54.99, though prices can vary by location.
