Is there a mercy rule in the Little League World Series?

Yes, there is. Little League refers to it as a “run rule.” Here’s a breakdown as per Little League guidelines.

RUN RULE: If a team has a lead of fifteen (15) runs or more after three innings (or four innings for Intermediate (50-70) Division/Junior/Senior League), the manager of the team trailing must acknowledge the opponent’s victory. Additionally, if a team is leading by ten (10) runs or more by the end of a regulation game, the trailing team’s manager will concede the win to the other team.

NOTE: If the visiting team leads by fifteen (15) or ten (10) runs, the home team is still required to bat in their half of the inning.
