Unveiling the Brilliant Hues of Electrons: Insights from Electron Imaging

Surfaces play a key role in numerous chemical reactions, including catalysis and corrosion. Understanding the atomic structure of the surface of a functional material is essential for both engineers and chemists. UConn’s Geno Auriemma Aims for Historic Wins Record: Details on Game Time and TV Broadcast

The University of Connecticut’s women’s basketball team organized a special event months in advance, culminating in Wednesday’s game against Farleigh Dickinson. This matchup marks a historic moment for coach Geno Auriemma, giving him the opportunity to set the record for the most wins by a college basketball coach in history.

In September, UConn announced that it would be honoring the program’s 40 years under Auriemma and associate head coach Chris Dailey during this game. Over 60 former Huskies players were set to return to Storrs, Connecticut, likely hopeful to witness their Hall of Fame coach make history alongside a promising team led by potential 2025 No. 1 WNBA draft prospect Paige Bueckers. The UConn Dairy Bar even introduced new ice cream flavors to commemorate Auriemma and Dailey.

Auriemma, who is 70 years old, is just one victory shy of surpassing the all-time wins record in college basketball. He achieved this milestone after a remarkable career at UConn, where he has helped elevate the sport’s profile and produced numerous star players. He recently tied former Stanford women’s coach Tara VanDerveer, who retired after last season, with a total of 1,216 victories when UConn defeated No. 15 North Carolina last Friday.

Mike Krzyzewski, who stepped down in 2022, holds the men’s basketball record with 1,202 wins accumulated at Army and Duke.

This will be just the second encounter between UConn and FDU in women’s basketball. In their previous meeting on November 25, 2011, the Huskies won decisively 74-28, limiting FDU to only five points in the first half. FDU currently holds a record of 4-1 this season, with their latest result being a 77-56 loss to Syracuse.

Below is all the relevant information to watch Auriemma attempt to achieve the all-time wins record when No. 2 UConn takes on FDU on Wednesday, including further insights on Auriemma’s storied achievements:
