Georgia Dominates NCAA Re-Rank 1-134, While Florida State Takes a Dive Behind Texas

Georgia Maintains Top Position Ahead of Texas in NCAA Re-Rank 1-134 as Florida State Falls

Georgia remains at No. 1 in the YSL News Sports NCAA Re-Rank 1-134 after narrowly defeating Kentucky, while one of their long-time rivals is sliding down the rankings.

Florida’s record fell to 1-2 after yet another disappointing defeat, this time against Texas A&M, dropping them to No. 81 in the latest ranking. The Gators are on track for their fourth consecutive losing season, a streak not seen since 1935-1938.

They won’t be the only ones struggling. Rival Florida State has also seen a significant drop, now at 0-3 following a home defeat against Memphis. Initially ranked No. 11 in preseason, the Seminoles have sunk to No. 80.

Florida and Florida State aren’t the only notable teams that have fallen in this re-rank. LSU has dropped six spots to No. 19 after narrowly escaping with a victory over South Carolina. Similarly, Michigan has fallen out of the top 25, now sitting at No. 29 after their 28-18 win against Arkansas State. It’s evident that Michigan is facing offensive challenges that are unlikely to be resolved this season.

Additional notable drops include No. 35 North Carolina State (down eight spots), No. 45 Wisconsin (down 14), No. 52 Kansas (down 22), and No. 53 Washington (down 16). Meanwhile, Washington State has improved, rising to No. 25 after a crucial defensive stand led them to victory over their rival, Washington, in the Apple Cup.
