Will a Spirit Christmas store open near you? Spirit Halloween to launch 10 new locations
Before kids even get to wear their costumes for trick-or-treating, Spirit Halloween is gearing up for the holiday season.
This seasonal retail chain pops up every year in numerous empty storefronts nationwide to sell Halloween decorations, costumes, and impressive outdoor animatronic displays. This year, however, the company, which belongs to Spencer Gifts and launched its first pop-up in the Bay Area back in 1983, is planning to stay open a bit longer.
They have announced their intent to open 10 Spirit Christmas stores soon in the northeast region.
On their official website, Spirit Christmas promotes, “Explore thousands of stocking stuffers, holiday apparel, unique gifts, charming decorations, and everything else you need for an unforgettable Christmas.”
Where will Spirit Christmas stores be located?
Spirit Christmas will be taking over shopping centers and malls in states such as New Jersey, Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania – many of which previously hosted Spirit Halloween stores.

The website doesn’t list specific opening dates for these locations. YSL News has contacted Spirit Halloween for further details on the Christmas stores.
The company has confirmed to People magazine that the Mays Landing, New Jersey store will open on October 18, while the other nine stores are expected to open in early November.
