Halloween Enthusiasts Rejoice: Home Depot Unveils the Iconic 12-Foot Skeleton!

Attention Halloween enthusiasts: Home Depot’s popular 12-foot skeleton is now available

The moment we’ve all been waiting for is here – the extremely popular 12-foot skeleton from Home Depot is now on display in stores.

In previous years, this beloved skeleton has sold out quickly once it arrives in stores. If you’re planning to snag one this year, it’s advisable to visit your local store early on Thursday morning.

Along with Skelly’s new pet dog and a stylish accessory kit, demand is expected to be higher than ever, and online availability is also limited. For those who are a bit late to the party, no need to worry—there are numerous other attractive Halloween items available in stores starting today.

As reported earlier by YSL News, Home Depot’s 2024 collection features a wide range of products, particularly for those who appreciate the spookier aspects of Halloween.

If you’re making a shopping list, here’s a quick summary of some of Home Depot’s seasonal offerings.

Skelly has a new look

You know and love him, but be prepared to wait in line for a chance to own him.

Skelly, the official name for Home Depot’s iconic 12-foot skeleton that took social media by storm in 2020, is back this season with exciting new features for both loyal fans and newcomers.

Alongside a new accessory kit featuring a wig, jewelry, oversized shoes reminiscent of Wednesday Addams, Skelly now boasts an updated eye kit with multiple settings and a new lighting system, as well as a scarier head option for a more frightening appearance.

The new accessory kits can be used with older Skelly models that may lack some updates, such as the multi-setting eyes. You don’t need to buy an entirely new skeleton to enjoy the latest features—these kits will suffice.

The latest limited edition Skelly, which includes a rotating head known as “Servo Skelly,” is available exclusively online for $379, while the classic Skelly model is priced at $299.

Meet Skelly’s new pet dog

There’s even more to celebrate in the Skelly universe—he now has a pet! Skelly’s new dog measures 7 feet long and features multiple eye settings as well.

This canine companion can be yours for $199.

More larger-than-life decorations

On Thursday, other oversized characters will also debut, including a 12.5-foot Inferno Deadwood Skeleton, a 13-foot animated Jack Skellington, and a 12-foot giant Levitating Reaper.

Familiar Characters

For those uneasy about dolls or monsters, this year’s new animatronics with intricate facial movements might just give you a fright.

In collaboration with trademark owners, Home Depot has recreated classic horror icons this season, complete with eerily realistic facial expressions and movements.

Chucky, the infamous doll from the 1988 film “Child’s Play,” returns this year as a 3.5-foot animated figure. Clad in his signature overalls and brandishing a knife, Chucky delivers specially crafted lines for the Home Depot decoration, since the original film’s dialogue was deemed too explicit for store settings.

Even creepier, Chucky’s face includes moving eyes and a chilling grin that transforms his lifelike appearance into a sinister scowl.

Joining him is Frankenstein’s Monster, a classic symbol of horror. Similar to Chucky, this 7-foot tall LED-lit Frankenstein monster features a face resembling real skin, complete with bulging eyes that seem to follow you as you move.

Chucky is priced at $199, while Frankenstein is available for $279.

Stationary frights

If animatronics aren’t your style, Home Depot offers various frightful decorations that don’t involve any sudden movements. Some notable items now available include:

A 7.5-foot skeleton archway priced at $199, a pair of grimacing jack-o-lanterns for $79, decorative tombstones (inspired by actual ones from graveyards) for $79, and an 8-foot giant stack of LED skulls that glow for $199.

Adorably spooky

If you prefer decorations that are more cute than frightening, there are plenty of options as well. Here are some delightful choices:

A 2.5-foot ghost golden retriever, perfect for Halloween, priced at $39, a 2.5-foot glow-in-the-dark labrador for $39, and a charming light-up mummy mouse also available for $39.
