Starbucks Unveils Festive Holiday Cups for 2024
Beloved by coffee lovers, Starbucks has kicked off the holiday season with the release of its highly anticipated seasonal cup collection.
As the company prepares for the official start of the holiday season on November 7th, Starbucks aims to bring joy to its customers through the familiar sight of their festive red cups, now featuring a fresh and vibrant take on this tradition.
“We love finding moments of genuine joy and coffee to inspire creativity,” said Kristy Cameron, Starbucks’ creative director in a statement. ” Whether that’s coffee trees growing, beans roasting, cups toasting, or lights glowing – we wanted to share the warmth of our coffeehouse and the anticipation of the red cups arriving with our customers and partners.”
This year’s cup designs incorporate both the traditional Starbucks green and cranberry red, symbolizing the festive spirit.
“We’re really excited to lean into greens this year,” Cameron shared. “The jade green is so vibrant and bright, and we love how it references our brand colors in a way that brings a spark of joy to our holiday cups this season.”
The theme for 2024 is “Merrier Together,” reflecting the sense of community and connection the holidays bring.
“We kept thinking about this notion of voices coming together, like our siren singing,” Cameron said. “It feels musical in a way.”

This design features interconnected dots that resemble glowing holiday lights, embodying the joy of sharing a cup of coffee with loved ones.
**Joyful Connection:**
Inspired by the sights and sounds of a Starbucks Reserve Roastery, this cup’s circular shapes represent the art of coffee roasting and the pleasure of gathering together.
**Lyrical Landscape:**
This cup evokes the gift-giving spirit of the holiday season, with vibrant, undulating lines reminiscent of ribbons adorning beautifully wrapped presents. Alternating bands of red, green, and pink create a harmonious blend of colors.
