In-Person Early Voting: Current Locations and Updates Across the United States

Where has in-person early voting started? Here is where it stands across the US

Thirteen states have commenced in-person early voting for this year’s general election, with 30 more slated to begin throughout October.

With election day approaching in less than three weeks, various states across the U.S. have initiated in-person early voting.

Recent polls indicate a tight race between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump, following a turbulent campaign that included President Joe Biden being succeeded by Harris and several assassination attempts on Trump.

Alabama was the first state to begin voting by sending out absentee ballots to eligible voters on September 11, although it does not offer in-person early voting.

North Carolina was originally expected to kick off the early voting process, but this was postponed due to legal challenges regarding the removal of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s name from the ballot after he exited the race.

As some states have already started voting while others are about to commence, here’s the current status of in-person early voting throughout the country.
